The Role

We are seeking a proactive, high performing Technical Support Engineer to provide technical and maintenance support on consumer electronics testing equipment.   

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the testing equipment is properly maintained, updated, and calibrated according to the corresponding procedures
  • Troubleshoot testing equipment hardware and fix failures in a timely manner
  • Participate in quality studies, root cause analysis if repetitive failure of products occurs during production
  • Test new procedures and applications and provide detailed technical feedback
  • Document, record and archive measurement data pertaining to product parameters and process control performance
  • Provide training and support to equipment users

Required Skills

  • 3+ years experience in hardware testing/electronic modules or testing equipment
  • Experience in maintenance and service of electric and electronic equipment
  • BSc in Electro-mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or an equivalent combination of skills and experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of consumer electronics, iOS devices is preferred
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Debug, analytical reasoning and problem solving
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
  • Ability to work independently and professionally
  • Legal right to work in the Netherlands, sponsorship is not available for this role.
